End of the Year Deadlines/Updates
Our Dream Designers team rocked it this year! I began this journey thinking this would be a part time thing on the side to get some girl time and now it's grown to beyond my dreams. I have made new friendships and am looking forward to meeting several of you at upcoming events.
Our team has grown to 67 and I know that many of us have DIWs anxiously awaiting their turn with this incredible opportunity that we have all be given.
Our Team Volume - Oct $25.4k, Nov $84.6k and Dec currently at $67.8k with a few more days to go. Amazing!
I can't wait to see what 2013 will bring.
Ordering cut-off for December is this Monday, December 31st at midnight EST. Remember, you can earn $25 in Hoot Loot for every $250 in personal volume. If you are close to the next $250 volume level, you may want to consider placing an order before the deadline to qualify for additional Hoot Loot this month. *To view your volume, log into the back office, click on Commissions and then Volumes on the left hand side. Total PV is the column that will list your personal volume for the month. Please let your mentor or myself know if you have any questions.
Also, please don't forget that the Standard Ball Chain will only be included with Living Locket purchases for Designers placing wholesale orders through Midnight EST on Monday, December 31st.
End of Year Tax Suggestions
I am not a Tax Accountant nor have I spoken to one yet, but here are a few tips...
- Take an inventory on December 31. There are some detailed inventory spreadsheets out there or if at the very least I would write down the # of charms, plates (small, med, large), chains (various price points), dangles (various price points) and lockets. I believe need ending inventory #s for Schedule C. *Refer to tax accountant for details
- Mark down your odometer reading at end of year, if claiming mileage. *I normally have a small notepad in the car and mark down date, location, beginning odometer reading and ending odometer reading for each trip that is for business purposes but I know others have different methods as well including taking beginning and ending reading and calculating a %. Again you would need to speak to tax accountant.
- Collect all receipts for any business expenses - table display, postage, office supplies, etc so you have them ready.
- Set up a separate bank account that you use exclusively for O2, if you haven't already. Easier to track income and expenses for tax purposes.

SOAR Regionals Registration
Deadline for San Diego, CA is tonight, December 28th and for Nashville is January 11th.
**Please let me know if you plan on attending if you haven't already**
This exciting event will introduce new programs along with great training, and of course, in typical O2 fashion, a whole lot of fun surprises!
A $75 registration fee will cover entry into our Friday night Welcome Celebration, a full day of training on Saturday, and lunch!
