Locker Room Talk
- This fall we will be continuing to use UA for our team apparel. We will be ordering 2 new varsity jerseys & a warmup outfit which will be very nice. Our JV will get the nice Nike jerseys for this upcoming season!
- School will be starting early next year ( August 16th) so this might adjust our 2018 calendar. For the Varsity this will mean we will miss the 2nd day of school for our New Braunfels Tourney. I will send the season schedule as soon as it is approved.
- The gym is full of highly competitive volleyball right now! I am excited about our 2018 season!
- We are getting ready to do a 21-day food challenge before we get out of school. This is not a diet just a challenge to try and eat whole clean food that is not processed. Hopefully, we can create habits to get them ready for the summer. This is going to include water, veggies, fruits, limited sugar (no more than 8 teaspoons a day of added sugar), protein, and portion control. Some of our girls are eating fast food for 1 meal 5-7 days per week. This is some of the reason why we are not able to get as fit and possible. Your support on this would be greatly appreciated.
Leadership Class is Friday Mornings from 7:30 am -8:30 am. M601 (Not Mandatory) If any parents would like to volunteer to speak at a leadership class we would love to have you.
