From Dr. Harmer
Hello Eagleville Families,
As we approach the end of the 2019-2020 school year we can certainly say this is not the end to the year we expected. However, the teachers, students, parents, and community were able to rise up to meet the challenge, and show we are Eagleville Strong! Please see below for Google Classroom expectations for the final two weeks.
Week of 6/1-6/5
During the week of 6/1-6/5 teaches will continue to post new skills and activities. Teachers will continue to respond to students and provide feedback as needed.
Week of 6/8-6/12
On 6/5 teachers will post fun review and closure activities for students in their Google
Classrooms for the week of 6/8-6/12. No new skills, just wrap up activities that students can work through for the week of 6/8 – 6/12. Please feel to reach out to your teacher if needed.
Special Areas will continue to post the same activity boards for the final two week period.
6/15/20 Summer Review Activities Posted
On 6/15/20 review activities for students in elementary grades will be posted on the district website. These activities will allow students to practice skills throughout the summer.

End of Year Student Material Pick Up Procedures June 8th & 9th
Parents will pick up student materials on either 6/8 or 6/9. Pick up will be in the back of the school using our car loop by the gym, not in the front of the school.
Please collect any library books, instruments, or Chromebooks that belong to the school, and put them in your trunk. Chromebooks need to include the power cord.
Please have your last name and homeroom teacher printed largely on a piece of paper. Tape it to the inside of the passenger side window. If you have multiple children, please have all the teacher names on the sign.
See below chart for your class times. If you have multiple children please use the oldest child’s time slot, and make sure to have all teacher names on the sign.
If your child is in fourth grade, please bring them during the designated time. Have them sit in the back on the passenger side.
Office Staff will see your last name and will get the bag(s) ready.
When you pull up, put your car in park, and pop the trunk or hatch.
Please do not get out of the car.
A staff member will put student bag(s) in your trunk or hatch, and retrieve any item that belongs to the school from the trunk or hatch.
Staff members have put some valuable items in the bags so please have your children go through the bags at home.
Social Emotional Learning Packet
School Counselor News
What is something important taught in school but not on a report card? Social Emotional Learning (SEL). This includes skills for getting along with others, regulating emotions, developing self-confidence along with many other skills. These skills may be difficult to learn, develop and practice while staying in quarantine. The elementary counselors have put together a packet to help your child with these skills while home for the summer. Be on the lookout for an electronic copy or be sure to request a hard copy on your pick up day. To understand a little more about the importance of SEL, read this article https://www.lessonsforsel.com/post/why-every-school-must-have-a-social-emotional-learning-plan-prior-to-reopening or contact your school counselor.
