"I've seen a leprechaun before. In my old house. He was riding a spider!"

The Motivational Jellyfish
From a parent of Hand-in-Hand Early Learning Center: "I wanted to let you know that the jellyfish that my daughter made in class is now dubbed 'The Motivational Jellyfish' for the entire base police department. They have even outfitted it with a uniform."
We are so glad to see the influence of HIH students' artwork spreading motivation (and cuteness) throughout the community!
We Need Your Voice for Future-Planning
As you know, our most recent school bond measure that would have replaced three aging schools and enhanced safety for all of our schools failed to meet the supermajority threshold of 60 percent approval.
While we are disappointed in the outcome, we are moving forward with future planning and need your voice to inform decision-making. Please take a few minutes to complete the following short survey and consider participating in a new building advisory committee. The advisory committee would dive deeper into facilities planning and provide additional feedback and recommendations to the School Board. We hope this committee will have diverse perspectives to provide us with a well-rounded view from our community.
We know there is still work to do to ensure our schools provide a safe, modern learning environment for all of our students, and thank you for your continued partnership in these efforts as #OneOakHarbor!
