Friday Message from Dr. Glaze
In-person instruction continues to be a priority for our community and our families. Our goal each day is to keep our schools open, operating as safely as possible while providing students with a supportive, healthy, and engaging environment rich in opportunities.
We are blessed to be in a community with residents who are interested in making meaningful contributions in our schools. We have employment opportunities available throughout the corporation that may be of interest to those whose skills and qualifications fit the position. We also always have a great need for substitute teachers to help fill in the gaps in the classroom.
ESS is currently hiring substitutes for Tipton Community School Corporation! We have many openings and with a flexible schedule, this is a great opportunity to pick up extra income or to get back to work while the kids are in school. There is a substitute sign-up meeting in the Community/Board Room from 12pm – 2pm on Wednesday, Sept. 1. For more information and for instructions on how to register for this meeting, see the flyer below: https://www.tcsc.k12.in.us/info/careers Visit www.willsub.com to apply!
We also encourage our families and residents to stay connected and up to date about what is happening in and around our schools. You can follow us on social media at the district and building levels. Our extra-curricular activities and athletics also have their own social media sites to keep members and fans in the loop. You can access the district website at: www.tcsc.k12.in.us.

If social media is not for you, another way to reach out for answers to specific questions about TCSC policies or general information is at askthesuperintendent@tcsc.k12.in.us. This email account will be monitored on a regular basis and allow for families to get quick information when possible.
I want to give a shout out to Tipton High School's Achievement Academy (TAA). Students enrolled in the academy are currently working on 22 different courses with their sights set toward a collective 100 credits when combined with their Hinds Career Center classes. TAA is opening doors to next level opportunities for post-secondary success.
I would like to commend our Tipton High School Bands for an incredible competition season topping it off by earning a Division 1 Gold with Visual Distinction at the ISSMA Summer Showcase in Kokomo last Saturday.
As a reminder, TCSC has a limited number of hotspots for Tipton students that do not have reliable internet options. Click this link and complete the survey to see if a hot spot would work for your student. https://forms.gle/YPDTWShe3rFoBdJWA
We are up to the challenges that surround us and will continue to press forward with mindful determination. We thank you for your continued cooperation, support, and partnership. There will be exciting football action tonight with the Blue Devils taking on the Elwood Panthers tonight at the first home game of the season. Go Blue Devils! #TiptonPride
