What are the three parts of the cell theory?
The three parts are
1) All living things are composed of cells
2) Cells are the basic unit of structure and function
3) Cells are produced from other cells

Observed animal cells and extended Matthias Schleiden's Cell theory to animals. 1839
Rudolf Virchow
Concluded that all cells are made by existing cells. 1855
Robert Hooke
Looked at a piece of cork through a 50X microscope and ignited the spark or started the idea of the cell theory. 1665
Matthias Schleiden
Determined that all plants are made up of cells and recognized the importance of the cell nucleus. 1838
Anton Van Leeuwenhoek
First Microbiologist and was the first man to witness,describe, and publish data on living cells. 1674, 1676, and 1683
