I've been an Active Duty Marine for over 18 years and I can vividly remember when I was my most physically fit. Running for miles was never an issue when I was in my twenties....I was in the best shape of my life! Then I got selected for Recruiting Duty an assignment that totally destroyed every bit of fitness that I gained. Two duty stations later, I found myself overweight and drowning in a bunch of bad habits like eating everything and drinking nearly everyday. My motivation came in the form of a lifestyle change which included an exchange for things that I love (chicken wings, burgers..etc) for things that were better for me. What ever has motivated you to make a change, keep it in the forefront because only that will be able to push you during the times you will want to quit!
