May State of KCA

Big picture

Dear KCA Parents and Students

We are in the home stretch and encouraging students to finish strong. God has blessed this school year with hardworking students, Godly teachers, and supportive families. There are only 8 more class days left. Just as Hebrews 6:11 states, “We want each of you to show the same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized.”

KCA's MARCH TO MAY MADNESS CHALLENGE

Each day count your blessings, name them, then pray for KCA and one other brother or sister that is going through a tough time. Do this for at least two consecutive weeks. Then find me on Family Fun Day and share how the Lord has worked through you!

It is time to plan for next year’s class schedule. Please make sure you have filled out the online course selection (PARENT PORTAL). Mrs. Stephens and I will be contacting HS families in the coming weeks to verify classes.

Pre-School & Kindergarten Priority Deadline is May 15th (rapidly filling up). All other class deadlines are July 1st. Classes ARE filling up.

We will be releasing our new 2019-2020 calendar in May's newsletter for your planning convenience.

Nuts and Bolts

Volunteering in this digital age of relationships that are a mile wide and an inch deep, families need a way to connect to like-minded people. To help meet this need for meaningful relationships, all KCA families are required to submit a background check and volunteer 16 hours per year. At the beginning of the school year, a volunteer schedule will be set up, and families can choose the volunteer opportunities that fit their schedules and preferences on a first come/first served basis. If a family has a special need, an appeal can be made to the family advisor and principal to consider other options. Background Check
