● Understand the need for creating a blended learning environment in their classrooms

● Intentionally design lesson components best suited for digital and face­to­face instruction

● Learn how to utilize blended learning with whatever amount of technology available

● Create formative assessments

● Learn the usefulness of a PLN

Blending, It’s Elementary my Dear Watson!

When: June 22-23, 2016

Who: K-5th-grade teachers

Where: Jackson County ISD

What: SCEHS and lunch provided!

Purpose: Identify how blended learning can be used to personalize learning in a K­-5

environment. Participants will enhance a unit they are already teaching by blending digital tools and face to face instruction in an elementary K-­5 classroom.

Life’s Better When You Blend

When: August 10-11, 2016

Who: 6-12th-grade teachers

Where: Jackson County ISD

What: SCECHS and lunch provided!


Purpose: Evaluate how blended learning can be used to personalize learning in a 6-­12

environment. Participants will enhance a unit they are already teaching by blending digital tools and face to face instruction.
