Thursday Special Screening: Gidget

Escape the gray of winter and enjoy the film that brought surfing into the American mainstream, Gidget. This 1959 film stars Sandra Dee, who wears swimsuits designed by Rose Marie Reid. Reid was the nations top swimwear designer and she donated her papers to the Harold B. Lee Library. Before or after the show you can tour the exhibitionRose Marie Reid: Glamour By Design in the L. Tom Perry Special Collections on level 1 of the library.

Doc Series Returns This Friday With Alive Inside

Dan Cohen, founder of the nonprofit organization Music & Memory, fights against a broken healthcare system to demonstrate music's ability to combat memory loss and restore a deep sense of self to those suffering from it.
