Report Cards and Action Lunch
Action Lunch is required for students to attend if they did not pass a core class. It will begin this week on Tuesday (10/17).

Freshmen Football
Football Highlights
B team won 28-14 and A team won 22-20.
In the A game Brady Caudill had a rushing touchdown where he drug about 6 defenders with him into the end zone. Kurt Hatch and Colt Miller both had fumble recoveries that Riley Wrinkle forced. And Dalton Merryman had an interception.
On October 19th the Freshmen will take on Abilene at Kangaroo Stadium.
Freshmen Volleyball
Freshmen A-Team has an overall record of 18 wins and 3 losses. Their district record is 7 wins and 1 loss.
Freshmen B-Team has a district record of 6 wins and 2 losses.
Coming up:
- Friday, October 20th vs. Abilene is our “Pink Out” game for Breast Cancer Awareness
- Tuesday, October 24th vs. Keller HS. This is the only blemish on the Freshmen A-Teams District Record.
Boys placed 9th out of 21 teams. Austin Christmas placed 2nd with Michael Dinkins and Chris Trejo had good runs as well.
Sadie Tharp placed 6th and Gina Limon 12th overall.
Give these students a high five and wish them luck in their next two tournaments in the coming weeks.

Band Highlights
At the Homecoming game (10/6) against Keller Central High School, The Fightin' Roo Marching Band and Color Guard had another fantastic run of their 2017 production of "Fly to Paradise". They also traveled to Springtown for their first marching contest of the season on Saturday where they won:
4th place Overall in Prelims with a Division 1 Rating
3rd place in Percussion Standstill
5th place in Color Guard Standstill
6th place Overall in Finals
