Brrr.....It's Cold Outside
This is your opportunity to give back to your school! Home & School needs just a few more parent volunteers to help cover car and bus duty for each of our teachers. This will take place next week - January 22nd through the 26th.
Please take a look at the sign-up and see if there is a time that would work for you. As always, the Blair Oaks Elementary Home & School thanks you very much for your continued support!

Blair Oaks R-II Elementary School eagerly anticipates meeting our Kindergarten 2018 students!
Kindergarten Round-Up is encouraged and will be held on Thursday, February 22nd, at 6:30pm with the event starting in the elementary gym. Parents of children who will be 5 years old by August 1, 2018 and who live in the Blair Oaks R-II School District are invited to come for a preview of Kindergarten. Please bring your child to receive important enrollment documents.
Kindergarten Screenings are required for enrollment and will be held on Thursday, March 22nd, and Friday, March 23rd, and will take place in the Blair Oaks Elementary Gymnasium. Appointments can be made on-line using the link listed below. If you are unable to access the internet, please contact the elementary office at 573-634-2808 to schedule your appointment. Screening is required if your child is planning to attend Kindergarten in the fall.

School Cancellations
Information regarding school closings or schedule changes due to extreme weather will be posted on the cancellation page of the Blair Oaks district website as soon as a decision is made. Typically, a decision to close school is made just prior to 6:00 AM on the morning in question. On days that our district is closed, our broadcast telephone messaging system will call all district families on their primary contact number at approximately 6:00 AM to announce the closing. The Blair Oaks R-II School District will post school closings or schedule changes on the local radio and television stations.
