Almost there!
Remember, keeping little minds actively engaged is the best thing we can do to prevent misbehavior. Every minute in the school day is crucial to student learning. Thanks for all you do to protect academic time!
Happy Birthday
Reminders
- Please keep the Humphries family and FWHS and FWES school in your thoughts and prayers. Amanda Humphries is the testing coordinator at FWHS and was highly involved in the community. She suffered a brain aneurysm at work last week. Unfortunately, she suffered devastating damage to the brain. Funeral arrangements have not been determined as the process may take several more days.
- The landscaping crew will be on campus today to start overhauling the front 5 flower beds. It is imperative that we keep students and parents off the flower beds. I will be assisting in the afternoons but can't be at all of the locations. If you see someone walking on the beds, please gently inform them of the work going on. We will be taping the flower beds off after spring break to offer the flowers and grass some time to grow. Hopefully, this will retrain people to stay out of them.
- We are taking about 50 people with us to the Washington, D.C. field trip Friday-Tuesday. Four of our students will have the opportunity to place wreaths on The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. What an honor and privilege!
- Trivia for Books is this evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and AR in the Afternoon is from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Please encourage your students to come. Also, we would love to see faculty and staff at the event. The students LOVE to see us outside of the classrooms :)
- The Science Expo is Thursday from 4:00-6:00 pm. The students selected have already been notified.
- 3rd Grade Teachers: The PBT Practice Test is due Friday. Please let Higgs know when it is completed.
- Purple Pinkie is Friday. More information will be sent out and permission slips will be placed in boxes.
- ENJOY YOUR SPRING BREAK!!!!
