how to multiply decimals
Suppose you have 6.34 ✖️ .32 you would just ingnore the decimal and do 632 ✖️ 32 amd when you get the answer since there are 4 numbers behind the decimal, you would hop your decimal 4 places to the left
where we multiply decimals in the real world
Suppose you had 13.22 ➗2 you just do 1322 divided by 2 and when you get the answer 661 you bring the decimal straight up to make it 6.61
dividing decimal by decimal
suppose you had 12.45 ➗1.2 you would make 1.2 a whole number which would be 12.You hopped the decimal once in the divisor means you have to hop the decimal once in the dividend too.when you get the answer just bring the decimal straight back up.
