This Week at The Ridge

Monday- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! No school for students or staff.

Tuesday- Regular Schedule, PLC meet in A17. PLC group attending conference in Plano. DRA window opens for K-5. ISIP MOY opens for K/1.

Wednesday- Regular Schedule. K/1 teachers off campus for Phonics Training, Plano PLC continues.

Thursday- Regular Schedule. K/1 teachers off campus for Phonics Training. Plano PLC concludes. Cook off campus.

Friday- Regular Schedule. Report cards go home today.

Teacher To Do List:


  1. Update your Mid-Year Spreadsheets with new data.
  2. Update your TTESS goal and collect evidence as appropriate.
  3. Keep warm!

Please see the attached new calendar for next year. The first contract day for ALL staff is August 8. We will talk more about August professional development days and your summer professional development on Friday. TTESS goals will be linked to PD. More to come.....

January Drills

There will be an unannounced Fire Drill in January-- please review your yellow emergency management quick guide for information. Make sure your students take their coat for the drill-- most likely it will be in the afternoon. If you are at recess during drill, you will line up your students on the playground perimeter.
