Teach at an Independent School
Southern Teachers still has over 900 teaching jobs available at private/independent K-12 schools around the South for the 2016-17 school year.
Independent schools can offer a wonderful teaching environment: smaller class size, 100% college-bound students, fewer discipline issues, and an emphasis on learning, rather than test preparation.
And it’s exceptionally important to understand that teacher certification is not necessarily required in independent schools. Therefore, a science major can be hired to teach science, a Spanish major to teach Spanish, etc.
You may read more about Southern Teachers and our services here. Interested candidates should apply via our website.
