1. Weston Elementary School is one of only three schools in Hancock Co. that received an ‘Exceeds Expectations' overall for the 2018-2019 Federal School Accountability Rating. We were one of only 87 schools in the entire state that achieved this! How did we do this? It starts with our #AWESOME staff! 2. Report Cards can now be viewed online through the Parent Portal in your child’s PowerSchool account. Contact our office if you need paper copies of these.

4. On Monday, January 20th all schools GCCSC will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

5. Our next eLearning Day is February 5th. More information to come.

6. Kindergarten Round Up at Weston will be on April 7th. More information will be shared in the months to come.

7. We had our January Fire Drill on Friday. Do you have a plan at your house in case of a fire? Do your kids know this plan? Practice it with them!

10. We are planning for our 3rd annual K-3 STEM Night for GCSC! We would like to have interactive stations, games, and/or displays for our students at this event . . . . last year we had hundreds of children attend with over 30 hands on exhibits. Are you interested in creating a booth/station?
