Message from Pathfinder Principal, Miss Boze
Have you heard your child mention “bug brags?” Children may earn blue bug brag tickets when adults catch them making good choices. Kids turn the tickets in to their classroom teachers and tell the class what they did to earn the ticket. Classrooms count the tickets in packets of ten and when they earn 100 bug brags, they turn the tickets in to the office for a chance to win a small prize. When we call attention to positive behavior and doing the right thing, we encourage children to make good choices that make Pathfinder a great place to learn.
Our four school expectations are: Be safe, kind, respectful and responsible. We focus on one positive character trait each month and children will often earn bug brags for demonstrating that behavior. Congratulations to our first winners: Mrs. Harvey’s and Miss Mukai’s classes!
