Notes from the Principal
Dear MacArthur Families,
I hope this newsletter finds everyone doing well. Again, I would like to thank all of our parents who are assisting their children and teachers with distance learning. This is not an easy task for anyone, but I am so proud of the work our students are producing and completing. I have sat in on Zoom lessons and absolutely loved seeing and talking with the students, I have read the 5th grades journals that they began as documentation of this event we are living through, I enjoyed watching the 3rd graders Flipgrid videos explaining squares, rhombuses, & parallelograms, 4th grade Flipgrid science paper airplane activity, I have watched Mrs. Curtis and Mrs. Dills teach their calendar time to name just a few of the amazing learning taking place. I am truly in awe of what is being accomplished and again thank our students, teachers, and parents.
Our entire MacArthur team has put together a little video, thanks to Mrs. Copeland, that we wanted to share with our students. I hope you enjoy it. On behalf of all of us hear at MacArthur I hope you have a blessed Easter weekend.
