JROB Dugout News 3/25 - 3/29/2019

Reflect, Reset and Respond Positively

Dear Robinson,

Ahhhhhh....the sun is shining and birds are singing...ohhhh yes!

As Spring brings us many wonderful things, the sun, flowers and the anticipation of Summer. In schools, it may mean the longest stretch between winter break and Spring break and the anticipation of SBAC testing. I encourage each of you to reflect on your classroom relationships, expectations and learning environments. How can I enhance relationships with students and their families? What merits review and how consistent have I been in the areas that cause me the most about of concerns? I encourage you each to respond in ways that positively impact your classroom relationships, expectations and learning environments.

Last week I posted an article on how to respond to challenging behavior and this week's article and video continue to support your efforts.

April is Growth Mindset month at Jackie Robinson!

In preparation of our month-long focus, please take a moment to read this interesting blog about the mindset continuum.
