Please see and fill out our Back to School Packet here! Thank you.
Dear El Carmelo Families,
Our K/1 students have transitioned beautifully to their new teachers in both Distance Learning and Hybrid Learning. We are welcoming first-graders in Cohort B tomorrow.
Hybrid Families, THANK YOU for completing the health screener by 8:00 AM each morning and making sure that your child is wearing a mask.
Second and Third Grade parents, you will receive the name of your child's new teacher and Cohort by 5:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2020.
Fourth and Fifth Grade parents the learning options survey will be coming out for you soon. I will email you when the survey sent out by the District Office.
DanaƩ,
How can I keep my child's teacher?
There are no guarantees in either program that you will stay with your child's teacher.
Classes and teachers in both learning models depend on the number of students in each grade level. Once the District knows the number of students participating in each model, classes can be created and teachers will be assigned.
Take a look at the slides from the recent Coffee with the Principal to learn more about the difference between Hybrid Learning and Distance Learning.
I have included information below about both learning options.
Be well,
DanaƩ
