Also, on Saturday (March 23rd) several SMG students in grade 3-8 will compete in the Private School Interscholastic Association District Meet, which will be held at St. Pius X Catholic School in Dallas. This is the first year that SMG has participated in PSIA, an academic competition team, and our students and their teacher coaches have been working hard the last several weeks preparing for the meet. This year, SMG has 32 students who are competing in one or more of 4 events including Math; Number Sense; Maps, Graphs, and Charts; and Ready Writing. Next year, we hope to grow the team and will compete in other academic events as well. Please keep our participants in your prayers as they compete this weekend. I will be sure to let you know how the outcome of the meet in next week's Trojan Times.
I look forward to seeing your students back bright and early tomorrow! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and the remainder of Spring Break!

The agent will be giving a more detailed presentation to parents that evening at 6:30PM in the Cafetorium. Because of the graphic nature of the information the agent will be sharing with parents, the evening presentation is for PARENTS/ADULTS ONLY. No Children or Students will be permitted to be in attendance. Please make arrangements for child care if you plan to attend.
