What is a tornado?

A tornado is a rapidly spinning column of air extending from the the base of a thunderstorm to the ground.

Cumulonimbus clouds are the only clouds that can cause tornadoes.

Tornadoes are measured by how fast they spin and how much damage they do. They measure from 0-12.
