The second week of school flew by....

Our second week of school flew by!! We had an all school fire drill with the firefighters present. Our students and staff members were all able to evacuate the building safely in 1 min. 34 seconds. The firefighters were very impressed with how quickly and quietly our students were able to exit. We also had picture day for all students and a band concert for our 3-8 grade students to get them excited about joining the band this year.

Please continue to use this weekly newsletter as our major way to communicate from school to home. This newsletters intended purpose is to help our families keep up-to-date on current school related events and important dates to mark in your calendars. The first month of school we will continue to print the newsletter and distribute paper copies to your children every Friday. Mid-September the newsletter will be available in a digital form only, hoping to help reduce the quantity of paper we purchase. We will post weekly newsletters to class Dojo as well as Facebook for easy convenience and accessibility. Teachers will begin writing their weekly class newsletter after Labor Day. Please continue to call me or the office if any questions or concerns arise. Thank you for entrusting your child/children to our care. Have a safe Labor Day weekend and we will see everyone back here on Tuesday for our Open Day Mass at 9:30 am. All are welcome to attend!!
