Classroom News - Room 406
January Edition
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to all! It is time to welcome in the new year as well as some changes in our classroom. We will be using Class Dojo as a behavior management tool. You should have received a letter with your own parent code. I strongly encourage you to create an account in order to monitor your child's performance each day. Class Dojo also features a "Class News" feature, where I plan to post important classroom information and updates on the curriculum. Lastly, Class Dojo includes a private communication log. Please, feel free to use this to communicate any questions or concerns that you may have.

Diversity Project
All students at Maple Hill will be participating in a diversity project. The project is designed for students to share their unique stories about their families and cultures. As part of this project, it is expected that each student completes a quilt square and returns it by January 15th. The expectations for this part of the project were described on the previous letter that was sent home. In addition, your child will be working on an additional project of their choosing during class. I encourage you to discuss the stories and traditions that lie at the heart of your family with your child in order to support the completion of the diversity project!
