The Siberian species are endangered because of habitat loss and they are endangered because their body parts are used for medicinal purposes.
Cause 1:
The Chinese Government is the cause of of the Siberian Tiger body parts being used for Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Cause 2:
The habitat loss is caused by the creation of new logging roads providing poachers (hunters) with access to formerly remote areas.
Effects:
If the tigers in general were to stop controlling the prey species (deer, wild pig, antelope, etc.) the prey would eventually expand. The increasing and unrestrained population would damage vegetation causing, small animals and insect to live in farmlands.Since small animals and insects have to live in farmlands this could impact the human population due to fundamental food lost.
