Winter Athletic Season Updates for Parents!

Parents, we are excited to be entering the winter athletic seasons. Please remember that your children should be in the gym watching and cheering on the Wildcats. Obviously there are times where they can be in the gym lobby, but no one should be in the hallways or RAC area unsupervised. Please have this conversation with your children prior to attending and thank you for your help in this endeavor to make sure all students and children are properly supervised and supporting their Wildcats during basketball or wrestling events.

There are punch passes available for $35 that are good for 10 punches. This is a $15 savings. These can be purchased in the superintendent's office OR at the admission table. Student, Single Adult, Dual Adult and Family passes are also available for purchase. Please inquire with Linda Byrnes to purchase these. linda.byrnes@riceville.k12.ia.us

In closing, let's show the R Factor every night we are playing through positive cheering for our team. Know that the referees are doing their best and without them no games would be played. "Move on from perceived poor calls" is a good motto to have. The refs are human and there will be questionable calls for us at times as well. Enjoy the games and let's create a great atmosphere for our wrestlers, basketball players, and cheer squad.
