Wright Jet News
Week of February 8th
Cline's Corner
I came across this anonymous quote the other day.
"We can't wait for the storm to blow over. We have to learn how to work in the rain."
It made me think about the conversations we had last week as we triangulated data (MAP, DRA, summatives and formatives) in grade level teams. One thing that stood out to me was how well you know your students. You spoke of their academic strengths and struggles and their personal and environmental challenges. Some of our students are in the midst of some big storms. Our challenge is to learn how to best unlock learning for them in spite of "the weather " they are experiencing. Please continue to track data and continue to think innovatively to unlock student learning.
Please remind students that we are out of school on Friday and Monday.
Enjoy your long weekend.
