Happy New Year! Another Year Filled with Adventure and Learning!
Each time I bring in a New Year, I challenge myself to set goals and to become better as a person and as a professional. What are some things on the "bucket list" that I may achieve in 2015? Will this be the year that I try a sprint triathlon, take a painting class, pursue a new degree, or hike some of the Adirondack mountains? It is important to maintain hopes and dreams and to set goals for ourselves and for our children.
2015 New Year Goals by Principal Ellis
- See my son Liam successfully graduate from high school and transition to college.
- Take time to express appreciation and gratitude of others, especially my family and friends who have helped me become who I am as a person today.
- Embrace and practice healthy habits and personal wellness.
- Be the best possible principal and instructional leader that I can be.
- Serve as a role model, mentor, and leader to bring out the best in others.
Over the next couple of weeks we will have an all school celebration focused on challenging children to identify goals they want to achieve in 2015.
