Babysitter/CPR

American Red Cross

Big picture

The American Red Cross is the nation’s leader in babysitting classes and childcare training – and will prepare your child to become one of the most capable, trusted and in-demand sitters in your neighborhood. In fact, 8 in 10 surveyed parents said they would pay more for a trained babysitter who holds Red Cross babysitting certifications. Start your child off right with a babysitting business and teach how to be a safe, professional and reliable sitter. The American Red Cross offers childcare training that's not only convenient, but valuable to you and the families you care for.

The Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims 0-12 years and older. Successful students will receive a certificate for Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

This class is perfect for anyone who needs to recertify in these skills or who is new to these skills.
