RHS CHOIR Munson's Fundraiser

It's that time of year again. The choir will be selling Munson's Chocolates/Candies until December 7th!

Money will be due when the chocolate arrives at RHS (hopefully December 17th or sooner.)

RHS Students Attend the Aerospace Workforce Opportunities Fair

Students interested in the field of engineering attended a field trip to the Aerospace Workforce Opportunities Fair at the Connecticut Convention Center. Students learned about careers in manufacturing and Aerospace.

RHS Drama Club Lends Their Voices to Vernon Historical Society's Veteran's Day Tribute

“Boosting Our Morale: Soldiers’ Letters to The Rockville Journal During World War II” is a production from the Vernon Historical Society. The video features the photos of the service members and their letters, read by members of Rockville High School’s Drama Club. The release of the video is keyed to the 80th anniversary of the December 7th, 1941 Japanese attack on the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor and the United States’ entry into World War II.

The football team has advanced to the championship game of the class M state tournament! They will play Killingly at 3pm on December 11th at Veteran's Stadium in New Britain. This is the school's first State Championship since 1995. We are so proud of this team's hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship.

On Tuesday November 30th, they won the quarter final over Ellington 27-0.

On Sunday December 5th, they defeated Torrington in the semi-finals with a 42-12 Victory.

ESports Team

The E-sports team advanced to the state playoffs!

RHS Esports Team 1 made the playoffs in the CIAC league after an incredible end to their season. Corey Schiffler, Ben Krupienski and Chayton Gonzalez are currently ranked 9th in the statewide league. Their first playoff game took place on Friday, December 3rd against the Conard High School Chieftains. Stay tuned for the results!

RAMS win the 2021 Battle of Route 83!

The Rockville Rams faced the Ellington Knights on November 24th in their annual Battle of Route 83 game. The Rams won with a score of 35-8 in an intense game. We are so proud of our Rams and their win! Go Rams!

News from the Library Media Center

In December we are featuring "No Tech" Crafts in the Makerspace. Students can use their free time to create crafts, buttons, construct a bridge or puzzle, learn to play chess, scrapbook, and more!

Library Media Club

The Library Media club is currently reading the book ¨Legendborn" by Tracy Deonn. At the previous meeting, the members of Library Media Club brainstormed ideas for the next book display. They came up with the theme of Snow Day! Come check out the winter themed display.

The club is also planning a Winter Readathon. We will keep you posted with more details.
