The Tides of Change theme was chosen to define the dynamic role of today’s secretary/administrative assistant. Today, it is more common for secretaries to take on the challenge of a leadership role including committee participation and facilitation; supervision of staff members, either directly or indirectly; and decision making. Tides of Change will not only offer valuable professional development to help secretaries and administrative assistants meet the challenges in today’s workplace, but also provide a networking opportunity as well. The goal of the conference is to offer practical information that can be applied in daily routines and increase productivity.
