Michael Vey is a student at Meridian High School, Michael Vey is an ordinary fourteen-year old. In fact, the only thing that seems different about him is the fact he has Tourette`s Syndrome, but Michael is anything but ordinary. Michael has special electric powers.

Michael thinks he`s unique until he discovers that a cheerleader named Taylor also has powers like his. Hers can reboot people by just touching them, and with help of Michael`s friend Ostin, the three of them set out to free Michael`s mom. Also they try to find out how Michael and Taylor and 15 other kids ended up this way. Their investigation brings them to the attention of the Elgen academy who want to control the world by using the kids special powers.

I wound give this book a 5 of 5 star rating because it was a good adventure,fun book

My Assessment of the book

Chose this book because of the cool cover and the prologue. my favorite part is when Ostin kick Nichelle butt.Reasons i liked the book because it is like a war book with little bit of romance. I would recommended for ages 10 to adult.
