Stocking Stuffers
If you haven't sent in your child's stocking stuffers, please do so by Tuesday. The children have started filling the stockings today. Please remember to keep it simple. There is no need to wrap or individualize anything. Some great items are pencils, erasers, stickers, candy, or notebooks.
Holiday Party
Our holiday party will be Thursday, December 20th at 10:30. If you would like to help please contact Mrs. McCleary (trish_mccleary@yahoo.com) or myself. We are in need of at least 4 parents to run the rotations. We will have craft and game rotations and then enjoy yummy treats. One thing I would love to do Thursday is allow the children to decorate a sugar cookie. I have sprinkles if someone would be willing to make 2 dozen sugar cookies that would be wonderful.
We are planning on eating lunch in the classroom while watching a short holiday movie. In the afternoon the children will rotate between the kinder classrooms for fun holiday crafts. They will be tired Thursday afternoon!
Their backpack will be full of goodies. Their stockings, crafts, and presents will all be in their backpacks. Please help your child organize their things so they can put their crafts out to help decorate the house for the holidays.
Don 't forget- Friday is an early release day!
Class Celebration
The children want to use counting to 60 as our celebration when we return in January. We are doing our best in class by counting together every day. Please count with your child. If they are unable to count to 60, practice counting to 60 so we can reach our goal.
Merry Christmas!
I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday break. Please have safe travels and many enjoyable hours with family and friends. Don't forget to read with your children, encourage them to write thank you's for their gifts, and practice their sight words.
Thank You !
Thank you to everyone who sent in cotton balls, tissue paper, and paper lunch bags. These items are much appreciated!
