It's Time for...

How to Train Your Dragon: The Virtual Version

About "How to Train Your Dragon"

"How to Train Your Dragon" the Virtual Version is for everyone this year! Normally, it has been reserved for 6th graders and has been a face-to-face event. We would have a team waiting to greet your incoming sixth grader and we would escort them on a series of activity-filled stops around the school. We also have a portion for parents that is separate from the students.

This year, our event has gone virtual due to Covid-19. All students, at every grade level, are invited this year to go through the "How to Train Your Dragon" virtual event. Embedded within each virtual room is information on how to manage during distance learning. There are six stops and so much information to view and learn in each room. We encourage you to sit down as a family and do this activity together.

It is a self-paced event and intended for the students and parents to visit different virtual rooms and learn more about what this school year has to offer in the form of rules, virtual learning, Google Classroom and so much more.

Please make sure you follow the instructions during the tour. It is important for you to click where it tells you to click to enjoy the event as it was intended. Although, you can view this on a phone or tablet, your best experience will be on a computer with the sound on. You may explore pictures and words in each virtual room, but if you become lost, make sure you look for the words "Go Back..." or the red navigation symbol (pictured above on the right).

We hope you enjoy this virtual event and we look forward to you participating in the survey during your last stop for a chance to win a "back-to-school" prize. Click the picture below to get started. Take care and stay safe!
