MANDATORY EVENTS!!!

March 28th & March 29th

MANDATORY-Plano West Invitational CDE Contest

All students participating on CDE must attend both dates and times below with a parent!


MANDATORY MEETING FOR ALL MEMBERS & PARENTS on March 28th

We will go through setting up the entire contest and every task. We will meet at 5:00pm-7:00pm. Dinner Provided


Tuesday March 29th

Arrive by 3:00pm

520 students from over 50 schools will be participating in this contest. You will be assigned your duty on Monday March 28th.


You will get a t-shirt to wear. If you want to keep it bring $6.00 on March 28th!

Credits

The credits list has been updated. Please start selling Cristina's vouchers or bring in a check made out to Plano West FFA Booster Club to pay off outstanding balance. DUE April 4th by 5:00pm to participate in the area contest! Students must earn/pay 150 credits to participate on a CDE team.


Note-Effective 2015-2016 school year credits do not "roll over"

Contest Travel Plans

Tuesday, March 22nd

Northwest Invitational-MQP, Ento, Vet Sci, Poultry, Floral

Meet at 6:30 AM – Clark Stadium West Parking Lot

Leave at 6:45 AM

Check-in – 7:30-8:30 AM

Contest starts – 9:00 AM

Bring money for lunch (Restaurant TBD)

Awards – ~2:00 PM

Arrive in Plano ~5:00 PM - Clark Stadium


NCTC -Gainsville, TX-Horse

We will meet at Plano West @ 6:00am behind the Ag class

Return around 5:00



Wednesday, March 23rd

Parker County-MQP, Vet Sci, Poultry, Floral, Horse

Meet at 5:45 AM – Clark Stadium West Parking Lot

Leave at 6:00 AM

Check-in – 7:45-8:15 AM

Contest starts – 8:30 (Vet & Horse) & 9:00 (All other contests)

Lunch – 1:00 PM – Bring money for lunch & possible snacks (Restaurant TBD)

Awards – 2:30 PM

Arrive in Plano ~5:30 PM - Clark Stadium

Students should wear their team polo, jeans, and closed toed shoes. Vet Sci will wear team scrubs.
