January is Positivity and Purpose Month!
Westfield High School is excited to focus on monthly themes that are aligned with our Life Ready skills. In addition, these themes match CORE content as well as national/global awareness months.
January’s theme is Positivity & Purpose. Our CORE sessions this month will offer enrichment activities encompassing the Positivity & Purpose theme. Additionally, there is a monthly form for those students and staff that demonstrate each of our monthly themes.
The students/staff that demonstrate positivity would see the best in themselves and in others. They have the trust and confidence to develop and grow a positive future and refuse to let setbacks or failures discourage them from reaching their goals. They focus on opportunities and what they can control. Students/staff who demonstrate purpose would have a growth mindset and work hard. They take on challenges that stretch them and assess ideas and viewpoints. They inspire or spark others interest and enthusiasm.
Click HERE to nominate students/staff who demonstrate these monthly themes.
