Our Path Note Topic
The current goal for the playground including equipment, shipping, and installation is $100,000. To help kickstart this campaign and show our unity in this vision, the school is selling t-shirts with the #AkersToPlay logo. All proceeds from the shirt will go directly to the playground. If you would like to donate additional money up to $500, you can do so right from the link in the form. If you would like to donate but do not want a shirt, that’s okay too! Just note that on the form. Finally, if you would like to discuss a donation larger than $500 or sponsoring a specific piece of equipment on the playground, please note that and share your contact information on the form and we will contact you directly. Here is the Google Form to order shirts and make donations: https://bit.ly/FVAkersToPlay Thank you for helping honor an amazing WASD teacher, supporting our kids, and helping to #MAKEItABeautifulDayInTheFVNest.
Fairview is hoping to raise money to expand the current playground and dedicate the entire space to her. As she always wanted, we want to give our kids and community #AkersToPlay in a safe, healthy environment.

Piece of the Puzzle
This Week's Piece of the Puzzle is Laura Kiessling. Laura has been a Mowrey Mustang for many years. This year she transitioned into the role of MTSS coordinator. Laura has embraced her new position and continues to go above and beyond to support our learners, staff, and parents. She has made it a priority to grow professionally and learn as much as she can even in just a half a school year.
In addition to learning a new position, Laura has also sought additional resources and opportunities to support our Mowrey learners. Most recently, Laura has secured a partnership with Penn State Mont Alto and their new Nittany Read/Nittany Counts program which will allow Mont Alto students to participate in a work study program at Mowrey Elmenetary supporting Mowrey learners. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our Mowrey learners, Laura!
Congratulate Laura Kiessling for being this week's Piece of the Puzzle!
