LANGUAGE ARTS
Reading Informational - With modeling and support, we will answer questions about details in an informational text.
Speaking/Listening and Foundational Skills - With modeling and support, we will participate in collaborative conversations with diverse partners about Pre-K topics and text with peers and adults in small and larger groups. We will also recognize rhyming words in spoken language.
Writing - We will use words and phrases acquired through conversation, being read to, and responding to text.
We loved shopping at the Book Fair!
Mathematics in Quarter 3
Numbers to Ten - We will count verbally to 10 by ones and identify written numerals 0-10.
Shapes and Measurement - We will group shapes by attributes.
Number Sets to Ten and Operations - We will recognize the number of objects in a set without counting.
We loved rhyming and making hats to celebrate Dr. Seuss!
SCIENCE
We will identify some of the things that all animals do, such as eat and move around and then describe how their features help them do these things.
J is for Jellyfish. We made jellyfish and discussed all the new facts we learned about them!
SOCIAL STUDIES
We will recognize that workers do jobs in the home and community.
