Drama Club
Introducing a new opportunity for your child. The Drama Club “Etc”- Exploring Theater Concepts will be starting up this Thursday, January 27, 3:15-4:45. The goal for the club is to bring the joy and power of drama to RMS students. It offers participants the chance to experience the excitement and rewards of theatre arts while developing poise, social skills, confidence and the ability to work with others. Through the use of teacher-guided acting and theater games, participants will learn to express themselves with their voice and their bodies. All of the activities help students tap into their creativity and expand their imaginations. The aim is for students to gain an appreciation for the arts, while developing their individual talents and creativity toward self growth.
Participants are expected to be ON TIME and STAY FOR THE ENTIRE TIME ALLOTTED in the theater, unless they have a note or a message is received from a parent. Students are to be kind, respectful and courteous to one another or they will not be allowed to participate in the drama club.
Students interested MUST have a signed permission slip to join AND a ride home each meeting PROMPTLY at 4:45 due to other commitments which don’t allow me to oversee the safety of your child after that time. Students should wear comfortable clothing to allow them to move freely and participate in all activities.
