Whats On Tap this Week...

Paramount Pale Ale - Beer pours a pale golden hue with a thick white head that thins as the beer is consumed, forming slight lacing on the glass. Citrus, and pine in the nose with undertone of oranges and apricots. Balanced biscuit taste that is complemented by Simcoe and Amarillo hops provide a flowery and piney hop profile. Beer finishes sweet with lingering honey notes. (5.9 ABV – 53 IBU)

Albemarle Amber Ale - British Maris Otter makes up the bulk of this grainbill and gives lots of biscuit and toffee notes in the nose. Cascade and Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest, round out the bittering with grapefruit, and citrus flavors which complement the nutty malt profile. (5.7 ABV – 39 IBU)

Black IPA

On Tap Starting Saturday:

Blenheim Brown Ale - A classic Northern English Brown Ale. The beer pours a deep copper color with a thin cream colored head that lasts until the end of the pint. The aroma is dominated by toffee and nutty notes with a hint of fruitiness from the UK hops. The flavor has a gentle malt sweetness with a nutty character, followed by caramel sweetness and toffee, ending dry with a nutty after taste.

C’Ville on the Rye’z IPA - This is a deep golden rye with a thick head that lasts till the final sip while slightly lacing the glass. Intense nose of sweet citrus and pine with a touch of spice. Big citrus hop profile from the massive dosing of Cascade, with spicy notes from the rye. Beer finishes with a seemingly everlasting sweet hop flavor and a dry mouth feel. (6.1 ABV – 79 IBU)

Coming Soon - Seasonal Pumpkin Ale

This beer looks like pumpkin; burnt orange hue with a frothy cream colored head that sticks to the side of the glass causing a bit a lacing. Huge notes of cinnamon, graham craker, toffee and holiday spice in the nose. The taste is bready with big flavors of allspice and nutmeg and there is a hunt of pumpkin on the mid-palate due to the addition of pumpkin in the mash. The spice character on this beer lasts long after the sip has been swallowed, finishing sweet with just a hint of English hops. (4.6 ABV – 15 IBU)
