Eighty-four RILINK members responded to the Moving Forward survey. The results show Sora/RISOCKS and LibGuides were ranked one and two. Help Requests, a Functioning ILL/CDL System, Negotiated Discounts with Vendors, the Listserv and Newsletter followed.

One RILINK staff take-away is to maintain strong relationships with our outside vendors. Another priority is to continue working with Follett to deliver the ILL/CDL product RILINK was promised in 2021. The RILINK Advisory Board will be meeting to review the survey and make recommendations.

Infobase Representatives Katrina Conte and Robert Champion will provide an overview of some of their award-winning resources to RILINK members on Wednesday, March 22, from 3:30 to 4:15 pm. The zoom link will be sent to the listserv and this session will be recorded and made available for those unable to attend.

Some good news! Follett will not raise prices for Library Manager and add-ons such as WebPath Express, State Standards, and Fountas & Pinnell for next year. Most other vendors will keep prices the same, as well. There will be an increase for Gale of approximately 5% for most of their products. We are in the process of preparing draft invoices based on your 2022-2023 invoice which you will receive in the beginning of April. At that time please review the draft and make any changes before the final invoice goes out July 1.

This has been a very frustrating two years for RILINK members to wait for the promised CDL module from Follett. The latest estimate is that this will be available in September 2023. We have a meeting scheduled to discuss the project in April.

While we wait for the improved CDL module, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Use the CDL Checklist as a guide for processing CDL requests and report delivery issues as soon and as often as they occur.
