News from Mrs. Kott
It has been a great first week at Davisburg Elementary! Students are learning new routines, making new friends and getting used to being back at school. The beginning of the year is such an exciting time! With this excitement comes a great deal of information. Please be sure you know how your child’s teacher will be communicating with you, as well as how you can contact them. If you are unsure, please call the office.
Did you know there are several community events coming up soon? Family Fun Tailgate, Holly Play Day, and Davisburg Heritage Festival, just to name a few. There are also numerous opportunities for families here at Davisburg. To learn more, please attend the PTC (Parent-Teacher-Connection) meeting Monday, September 17th at 6:30pm in the IMC. If you are interested, but unable to attend please email davisburgptc@yahoo.com.
It has been wonderful meeting the students new to our school. I have enjoyed talking with our returning students and hearing about the fun they had this summer. As I greet students in the morning, walk through classrooms during the day, and wave good-bye each afternoon, I see so many smiling faces. Davisburg truly is a happy place to be! I am beyond grateful to be part of this amazing learning community.
Truly,
Denise Kott

As part of the newsletter development, our district will taking part in a professional photo shoot on Friday, September 14, 2018 to capture incredible images of teaching and learning across our district.
