Congratulations to all those listed below who were recently elected to be officers of the FC Band Boosters next school year!

We had 9 wonderful people ready and willing to serve on the booster board. THANK YOU, especially to all potentially-new-to-the-board parents who stepped up to run. To those that weren't able to run for an officer position - we will still need you. There are about 25 other very important roles we will need filled throughout next year. We'll definitely be in touch to find out your favorite way to help, and we'll make it happen.

To the outgoing board members - congratulations as well. You all are the reason we have the wonderful parental involvement that we do. I'm very impressed with our organization's poise over the last 12 months. You have handled challenges other booster groups only dream of accomplishing. I'm proud of our FC Band Boosters!

I'm looking forward to working with the new board members listed below, and all of the parents who will be helping next year. We've battled through this pandemic. Now we get the chance to rise up, raise funds, and transition from surviving to thriving. A challenge, for sure, but nothing we can't accomplish as a team. We'll plan entire seasons, events, trips (Disney again, soon, maybe? 😉, celebrations, provide for staff members, encourage the arts on a community-wide scale, and most importantly - make sure FC Bands students are making great memories and developing life skills that will last.

Each band class will have two rehearsals in April to practice and record their ISSMA pieces. Students should dress nicely (boys: dress pants and polo or button-down shirt and girls: dress pants and blouse or dress that goes below the knee while sitting and the shoulders covered).

Spring Concert

The Spring Concert will be held on Wednesday, May 12th and Thursday, May 13th. More information about these dates will be provided after spring break.

FCPS placed 3rd Saturday at Franklin Community with a score of 86.750. They performed their entire show and it was absolutely amazing! All scores can be found here: Scores from 3/13 Franklin Community

• Please read this information! It will answer any questions you have!

• Students will rehearse all day. An Itinerary will be shared later in the week for Sat.
• Below are our Covid traveling guidelines from the Transportation Department.

• We will be taking two buses. 25 students, 1 adult chaperone on each bus.
• Masks MUST be worn the entire time.
• No food or drinks are permitted on the bus.
• 1 student per seat-with the first 3 seats of the bus left open.
• Students will have to be in full uniform before we leave, no dressing rooms or time allowed to dress is given while at the competition.
• Battery/Cymbals/Pit~please bring long black socks!
• Battery/Cymbals will wear their marching shoes. Pit can wear black dress shoes/marching shoes.
• There will be a lunch break/ LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED

The winter guard spirit wear store is OPEN! Each winter guard student will automatically receive one show shirt for FREE, but it is always nice to have a backup. We are now kicking off our Spring Flower Fundraiser! We are selling 9 varieties of 10" hanging baskets. The sale will end on April 9th to accommodate for Spring Break. Flowers will be ready for pick up at the high school on Tuesday, April 27th, well before Mother's Day (May 9th). The flowers will cost $22 each with $6 going to student band accounts.
