Newsletter - Term 2, Week 10
Friday, 8th July 2022
Principal
Kia ora koutou,
What a crazy term we have just completed. Our students have certainly been knocked around with the flu - here's hoping next term this settles down a little.
Reports
Today our mid year reports go home to parents. Our reports cover the holistic development of the child - reporting on competencies, learning and wellbeing. These reports will be followed up early on in Term 3 with student-led conferences. This will be another opportunity to discuss what was written in the reports and view progress students are making within their workbooks.
Below is a link to a document that helps to explain how to read and understand the reports.

Please make sure your child/ren are in the correct school uniform.
School Accounts
If you have anything outstanding on your child's account you should have received an emailed statement this week. Some have been sent in the mail. If these could be paid before Term 3 that would be appreciated.

From the Board......
A big thank you to you, the parents, for your continued support and patience over these past two terms. We have been given numerous challenges already this year, a lot of it has been out of our control. We realise and know the challenges families at times are facing and appreciate your support, time and commitment that you have given to the students and our school, through coaching sorts teams, providing transport, attending school camps, donating and supporting your children's learning.
The Friends of the School play an important role within our school. We really appreciate and need their support to enable students to get some of the best educational opportunities we can provide. Thank you for your continued fundraising time and work involved with this. If you can help or would like to be involved please contact Amber.
We have currently just started our review process with ERO, Education Review Office, under the new structure and I look forward to sharing the findings in the near future.
Progress with property developments have been slow due to numerous hiccups but we look forward to the next two terms and the changes ahead.
We hope you enjoy the next few weeks and manage t avoid any illness, or use this time to recuperate. We look forward to Term 3.
