Farmington View Information
- I hope all of you had a wonderful break. We're very excited to have your children back at school today! When we have a school closure or delay, I will always send an email out through out student information system and the infolist. However, you can also check the district website to get the necessary information. Let's hope that we are done with the wild weather for a while.
- A reminder that good school attendance is 95% or better. That's missing less than 8 days for the school year. Here is our current attendance data.
90%-95% = 63 or 21.2%
<90% = 24 or 8.1% same as previous week
- Interim Assessments: All students in the Hillsboro School District will complete an interim assessment in Math and English Language Arts within the next three weeks. Teachers will use the results to see how their students are doing against the common core standards. The assessment questions are based on what students should know at this point in the school year. I'll explain more about this at our next Booster meeting.
- Dropbox: Since I can't attach documents using this program, I'm going to use Dropbox as a way for you to see/read documents. There will be a link on every eNews and all you have to do is click on the link. It will ask you if you want to become a user, you can just click "No Thanks" and open my documents. This will allow me to share minutes from Booster meetings and other important documents. I hope this is helpful.
- Good Luck to Farmington View's Lego Robotic team the Animalz. They are competing at the state competition this weekend.

Library Time
Mrs. Russell has totally revamped library time this year. Students check-out books and then have the opportunity to participate in a variety of brain games as seen below in the pictures. She reports that students are much more engaged in the library.
