Counselor's Corner
Hello LVES families! Our first Project Vinátta campus project is underway during our guidance classes! Students are creating a “No Place for Hate Paper Plate” that shows a picture or message about being kind to others. We will be posting the paper plates in each grade level’s hallway once they are all completed! It is getting colder out, so remember the Lago Vista Clothing Closet is open to all community members, and is located behind the Lago Vista Intermediate School in Portable 6. You may call LVIS at 512-267-8300 ext. 3500 to schedule a time to pick something out. And don’t forget about the free Coats for Kids event at the Palmer Events Center in Austin tomorrow, December 8 from 8-3. (www.jlaustin.org/coats) If your child needs a coat and you are unable to go to either of these places, please let me know and I will make sure they get one! You can email or call me, just let me know if it is for a boy or girl, and the size needed. I will pick something out for your child and bring it to school for them. Thank you! amy_sexton@lagovista.txed.net or (512) 267-8300 ext. 4504. Hola familias LVES! ¡Gracias! amy_sexton@lagovista.txed.net o (512) 267-8300 ext. 4504.
