Did you know . . .
Breakfast is available every morning in your cafeteria! Starting at 7:40am, students can come to the cafeteria for a nourishing breakfast to start their day for only $1.25! If your child is approved for free or reduced-price lunch, they can get free breakfast every day! The cafeteria serves a variety of hot and cold choices including cereal with a yogurt cup or hard-boiled egg, fruit breads, and rotating hot choices including hot breakfast sandwiches, mini pancakes, and egg & cheese wraps. Students may choose one or two fruits and a carton of milk, all included with the meal. Please join us for breakfast!
Allie's Mitzvah Movies
Do you have any G, PG, or PG-13 movies in your house lying around in drawers that you don’t watch anymore? Support a KP student's desire to support Kid Flicks, a non-profit organization created by four sisters in California. This organization collects donated DVD movies from all over the United States and sends them to children’s hospitals and medical facilities, Allie will personally deliver one movie library to a children’s hospital in Connecticut. Please place your movies and monetary donations (checks made out to Kid Flicks) in the box in the main office labeled “Allie’s Mitzvah Movies”. Collections will be delivered every Thursday through November 5th. Let's help her reach her goal of 1,000 movies!

Where Do You Start? Addressing the Mental Health Needs of Children
Join West Hartford’s Supervisor of Psychological Services Stacey Kellog-Shove and social work staff to hear about West Hartford's new initiatives to identify and support children with mental health needs. Other community services will also be discussed at Sedgwick Middle School, 128 Sedgwick Road, West Hartford at 7:00 PM enter through Wardwell Rd entrance).
