Why is Protein important?

Protein is a very important nutrient in our bodies. One of the reasons is that they perform a majority of the tasks in your body.

What will happen if there is a lack of protein?

If your body has a lack of protein, then many tasks that the protein executes would not be completed. An example of that is some molecules wouldn't get transported where they needed to go in your body.
