2022-2023 ENROLLMENT

We are beginning to gather preliminary information to plan for next year. One piece of information that is valuable at this time is information on student enrollment intentions for next year. This information helps make sure we are staffed properly and contributes to the process of creating classes.

We would appreciate you completing the 2-3 minute questionnaire below. Thanks.

CMAS Testing

Below you will see the schedule for this year's Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) testing for grades 3, 4, and 5.

Please support your child to do their best by:

  • making sure your child gets good rest.
  • making sure your child eats a good breakfast.
  • avoiding appointments during testing.
  • giving your child lots of love and support.

Note: Howbert Permits (Choice Open Enrollment)

For those families that are currently on permit at Howbert Elementary, it is not necessary for you to complete an additional permit form. Once you have had a permit accepted, it remains in effect through 5th grade at that school.

Students that will be in 6th grade next year will need to go through the Choice Open Enrollment process if the student is not going to attend the assigned neighborhood middle school for where the student resides.

If you have any questions, please consult the D11 Enrollment/Registration website or call the front office at Howbert (328-4200).

Please join Howbert families for a Family Tech Talk. We will have an expert from Trend Micro’s Internet Safety for Kids & Families program host an engaging Zoom presentation and Q&A for parents. From social media to online gaming, parents with kids of all ages can learn best practices to help them be on the Internet in safe and healthy ways, including tips and exercises they can use.

This event is being provided by the Howbert PTO.

Click the link below and register to attend the Family Tech Talk on Tuesday, May 10th beginning at 6:00 p.m. (virtual).
